The new update is out and with it are many exciting changes to the game.

Items Wheel

Introducing an improved weapon and spell selection system along with the new Items Quick Select Wheel which allows you to quickly switch and use items.

New Lightning Mode

The new lightning spell has two modes now:

  • Normal mode we all know
  • Alternative mode that activates when you hold down the spell fire button


The alternative mode fires a continuous beam of lightning.

  • You can select defensive spells in new game menu and also bind defensive spells in controls menu near the bottom

Weapons

  • Lowered speargun mana charging cost from 100 to 50
  • Speargun reloads and shoots faster
  • Using the stone too much might cause you trouble
  • Tibetian war cannon now has variable ranges and it has increased range when fully charged
  • Improved molotov

Spells

  • Improved ectoplasm
  • Nerfed shield health
  • Nerfed haste
  • 4th skull for spell level 6
  • Removed the shaking of the skulls
  • Increased the time before skulls get angry
  • Scrye time is increased 2 seconds per level
  • Increased lightning spell projectile speed and range and reduced cooldown
  • Added a scrye hint feature

Enemies

  • Howlers attack faster after a missed attack
  • Increased bird damage and melee range
  • Increased accuracy of the monk archer
  • Buffed flickerting stalkers (small floating heads)
  • Increased Monto speed (big blue flying creatures)

Misc

  • Health can overcharge over 100, will drain slowly
  • Maximum health pickups - 5/10/15 - depending on the difficulty
  • Made some cutscenes skippable
  • Many HUD fixes and improvements
  • Added unused Scrye and Shotgun sounds
  • Increased crosshair range
  • Increased the time dead bodies stay on the ground
